Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, Updates, and What 2023 Will Bring!
A note of thanks during this time of year and glimpses of things to come.
I sincerely hope, dear reader, that this message finds you well. I simply want to drop a brief note of thanks and deliver some news about goings-on related to History Killers and other projects by yours truly.
Concerning my next book, (Rights Reign Supreme: An Intellectual History of Judicial Review and the Supreme Court), it will soon be hitting the presses. The publisher of the book, McFarland & Company, has sent me the proofs to peruse for final approval. I am happy to report that the final touches have been noted and I have indeed given final approval of the proofs. This means that the process is now on to the final production stage. More details about the date of official release after the new year. Thanks so much for your patience and your interest in this next book. It is the culmination of years of work and I am excited for people to finally have the chance to read it. Additionally, for those local to the Pacific Northwest—and to the mid-Willamette Valley in particular—an official book launch and book signing event is scheduled! Now that the proofs have been approved and an official release date will soon be upon us, the date and location of this event will be announced as soon as is possible! This event is not to be missed! Stay tuned for more details as they become available.
As for this tasty history-related publication that you are presently reading, there will be some great (and new!) things coming in the new year. As stated in a previous installment, when subscribers were polled, a significant percentage let it be known that there is interest in audio and video-based content. I am happy to tell you that some audio and video content will be presented for the first time here at History Killers in the new year. It is exciting that new avenues will be explored and expressed in the near future! It must be stated, however, that text-based content will remain a priority. While audio and video will begin to be utilized to some degree come 2023, it will never be forgotten that those most interested in reading articles and essays will not be left behind, as readers of intellectual history have always been (and will remain) the backbone of this publication.
As for new articles coming in the new year, I am very excited about the various avenues of American intellectual history that will be explored in 2023. Subjects will be at times surprising, perhaps even challenging, but will always be rooted in verifiable data and thoughtful analysis—which has always been the aim of all of my work.
Thank you again for your continued interest and support. Enjoy this wonderful time of year with family, friends, and loved-ones.
See you in 2023!
